DAVID BANNISTER CMIOSH, Principal
David is the Director of Liability Risk Services Ltd, with over 30 years experience as a risk management specialist and particular skills in safety & health, occupational hygiene, absence management, property conservation and business continuity. He has worked across almost all industry sectors particularly engineering, chemicals, retail and food. He has extensive experience of advising global businesses on compliance and standards setting, not only within UK but also overseas.
He has been involved with many aspects of the risk management process having previously worked within the insurance industry, latterly as UK Health and Safety Practice Manager for a major global broker.
David´s approach is relaxed and is able to develop pragmatic solutions to clients´ health and safety problems. He is equally happy in the Board room and on the shop floor. He has successfully guided clients from sub-compliance levels of safety amd health management up to achieving best practice with the consequent contribution to overall performance.
David has professional qualifications in occupational safety and health (NEBOSH Diploma) and occupational hygiene (University of Manchester PG Diploma), is a Chartered Member of the Institution of Occupational Safety & Health (CMIOSH), a full Member of the British Occupational Hygiene Society and an Asbestos Removal Supervisory License Holder.
